A Message from Dr. Salil Gupta on COVID-19

Dear Patients,

I hope you and your families are healthy and safe. These are unique times and call upon us all to do what we can for ourselves, our families, and our communities. The most important thing we can all do is to be safe. Please follow all of the guidelines provided by NY State, the Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control.

I just wanted to let you all know that our offices are open. Like everyone else, we are taking this one day at a time. My offices are open and I will begin performing elective surgeries on May 4, 2020.

In an effort to reduce the risk of transmission, we will be limiting the number of patients in the office each day. We will limit the number of patients in the waiting area and hallways, and may therefore ask you to wait outside the office to facilitate this.

We are following all of the guidelines set by the State of New York, the Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control. We are taking every precaution that we can to ensure your safety and we are asking for your cooperation.

If you have a cough, fever, or flu-like symptoms then please do not come to the office for the health and safety of others.

Anyone who would like to have a visit via telemedicine, we have implemented this as well. We are here for you in any way you need us. For any issues, please call us at 212-400-6633.

This is a very trying and stressful time for everyone. Try to eat right, go outside if you can, get some exercise, get plenty of sleep. Do those things around your home that you never had time for before. Keep up with the latest news, but don’t overload on it! We will get through this together!
